Growing Up In A Small Rural Village In Tuscany, Ceramicist Fabio Bernardi Took A Love Of Making From The Rich Heritage Of Traditional Sculpture And Craft. After Moving To London And Working In An Office Job He Began To Question Disposable Low-Quality, Trend-Led Goods That Were Everywhere And Felt Inspired To Created An Alternative That Engaged With A Slower, More Natural Way Of Living. Taking Inspiration From Italian Cuisine, Puro’S Handmade Tableware Are Designed For Large Indulgent Sharing Dishes And Are Inspired By The Tactile Nature And Organic Shapes Of The Raw Materials.

These Large Serving Bowls Have Been Hand Built By Fabio At His Studio In Frome. Great For Informal Sharing Dinners Serving Up Salads Or As An Everyday Fruit Bowl. Formed From A Raw Black Clay And Finished With A Matt Off-White Glaze Inside.
